Wedding Photography
Real moments, beautifully kept
A natural, documentary wedding photographer based in Milton Keynes — covering Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, London, and North London. Packages start from £545 and every wedding is built to fit your day.
A wedding day, told the way it actually happened
Wedding photography is, at its best, gentle reportage. My job is to capture what's actually happening — the laughter at the bar, the quiet hand-squeeze before the ceremony, the wide grin on your dad's face when he sees you in your dress for the first time — without ever asking anyone to "do that again". Real over staged, every time.
Posed shots are part of the day too. Family formals, the bridal-party portrait, the hero portraits with your partner — those make the album. But they're done quickly and warmly, with the lightest direction, so we get back to the actual celebration. Most couples tell me they barely noticed the formal block happening.
I shoot natural-light first and adapt as the day evolves. Rainy ceremonies, blazing-hot summer afternoons, candlelit winter receptions — they all look different in the final gallery, but they all look like real weddings. Editing stays light: true skin tones, real colour. No filtered-into-oblivion looks that age in eighteen months.

Wedding FAQs
-
How do I book and what's the process?
A £100 retainer secures your date once we've agreed on a package, with the balance due two weeks before the wedding. We'll have a planning call 2–3 weeks before the day to walk through your timeline, must-have shots, and any family photo lists. Most weddings are booked 9–18 months in advance, but I sometimes have shorter-notice availability — just ask. -
Do you travel outside Milton Keynes for weddings?
Yes — based in Milton Keynes, I regularly photograph weddings across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, and London. Travel within a 60-mile radius is included in standard packages; further afield is quoted on request. -
How many photos do I receive and when?
The focus is always on quality over quantity — you'll receive a carefully edited gallery of every photo worth keeping, typically between 200 and 500+ depending on package and event length. Galleries are delivered via a private online gallery within 4–6 weeks of your wedding, with download rights for personal use and easy ordering of prints and albums. -
Do you include an engagement session?
Engagement sessions are available as an add-on with any wedding package. They're a great way to relax in front of the camera before the wedding day and get to know each other. Sessions are typically 60–90 minutes at a location of your choice — Milton Keynes parks, London streets, or a personal-meaning location work beautifully. -
Can we meet before booking?
Absolutely! I offer a free, no-obligation consultation — we can meet at your wedding venue, grab a coffee in Milton Keynes, or chat over a video call, whichever suits you best. Meeting at the venue is a great chance for me to scout locations and lighting spots for your big day. It's also an opportunity to look through full galleries from recent weddings and make sure we're a good fit. I find that couples who feel relaxed with their photographer get the most natural photos. -
How much does wedding photography cost?
Wedding photography packages start from £545 for partial-day coverage. Every wedding is different, so I'm happy to build a custom package — get in touch with your venue, date, and rough plan and I'll send a personalised quote within 24 hours. -
What's your photography style?
A natural, documentary approach with a focus on real moments and emotions rather than over-posed shots. I blend candid storytelling with a few classic portraits — enough to give you those timeless wedding-album images, without spending hours away from your guests. Light and colour stay true-to-life rather than heavily filtered. -
Do you shoot in all weather conditions?
Yes — some of my favourite wedding photos have been taken in the rain! British weather is unpredictable, and I always come prepared with creative backup plans. Overcast skies actually create beautifully soft, even light that's perfect for portraits. If it does rain, we can use doorways, covered areas, umbrellas (they make great props!), or move portraits to a different time in the day.
