Hi, I'm Anna. I run Anna Zhmaylik Photography from Milton Keynes — a long-time photography enthusiast turned full-time professional, with years of weddings, family sessions, and corporate work behind the camera, and 5-star reviewed on Google.
My story
Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember — what started as capturing family and friends naturally became "would you do mine?" enquiries. I went full-time in 2019 and have since shot dozens of weddings and events across Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, the home counties, and London — plus regular family sessions, bar and bat mitzvahs in North London, corporate headshots and personal-branding shoots for entrepreneurs and teams.
Some clients return regularly — couples I shot at their wedding bring me back for family portraits and 1st-birthday cake smashes. Olga has booked me for several family shoots; Leena returned for both a Christmas family session and her child's first birthday. Recurring bookings are the truest review I can hope for.
I've worked with Sprout.ai on a team headshot session that ended up across their platforms and in the press, and I'm increasingly the go-to for North London bar and bat mitzvah coverage. The thread through all of it is the same: get out of the way and capture what's actually happening.
How I work
- Natural over staged. I'd rather catch a real laugh than line everyone up. Posed family portraits and the formal wedding shots are part of the day, but they're not the whole album.
- Calm in the room. My job on a wedding day is to be steady. Couples tell me they forget I'm there — that's the point. Restless toddlers and shy execs respond to the same calm.
- True-to-life colour. Editing is light — natural skin tones, real light. No filtered-into-oblivion looks that age in eighteen months.
How booking works
- 1 Get in touch Send your date, location and rough plan via the form, email, or WhatsApp. I reply within 24 hours, often sooner. We'll have a no-pressure call if it helps.
- 2 Plan + shoot A small deposit secures your date — typically £50–£100 depending on the session, sometimes higher for larger bookings. Two-three weeks before, we'll walk through the timeline and any specific shots you want.
- 3 Delivery Wedding galleries arrive in 4–6 weeks; family in 2–3 weeks; corporate in 1–3 weeks (with sneak-peek images within 48 hours on request). Delivered through a private online gallery you can share with family and order prints from.
